Pastor Peter Gibson

Peter is a pastor in the truest sense of the word. Jesus commissioned the apostle Peter to look after those trying to walk the journey of faith. Pastor Peter has a heart for the same task of his namesake of 2000 years ago. Having trained at Bristol, Peter has 25 years experience in pastoral ministry and leading churches. His gifts focus not only a real and passionate desire to see people discover the wonder of knowing who God is, revealed through the person of Jesus, but to see people have a life that is full and meaningful. Jesus took time with people, cared for people, listened to people and taught people. Peter's role on Mersea Island, as a pastor, is to emulate that and help people understand that God (and the church) cares for them and loves them.

Evangelist Joe Haward

Joe is part way through his ministerial studies at Spurgeons College. He grew up within the community and heads up Causeway. He is enthusiastic in bringing the good news, of Jesus as your saviour.
